Does anyone have an idea what the value of a pair of white Boston Acoustics A40 speakers in very good shape would be?

The rule of thumb I use is for every model under the A400 it is $1 per number.
A40s would therefore be $40.

Spot on. Check the foam, though. EZ to refoam, BTW. With the stiff woofers, no need to shim or take off the VC protector (forgot what it is called). Cap?

Hmmm :scratch2: Maybe I'll go back and see if that pair I passed at the GW yesterday is still there. Filthy grillcloth, rotted foam, minor imperfections in the woodgrain vinyl, but $4 ea. Still, just a $12 return? Nah...

Here's the thing on A40's - They go for cheap, but are GREAT small speakers. I have a pair that are not that great to look at, but every time I listen to them I'm amazed how good they sound.
