Yeah, a good idea- floormats are what we should use on our Sienna van, we use towels in the floor (cheap k-mart ones, I guess). Car looks like new and it's a 2002 model :yes:

congrats on the new ride. I have never owned a new car, must be a real thrill. I really like your Mazda. been reading up on those and they always catch my eye on the road. I think ya done good!

Going for a long drive tomorrow. To a car show that my brothers car is in. (A 1970 XW Ford Fairmont) Should be a good drive but will have to make sure I dont sit on the same revs for too long since the engine is still hardly broken in. (200Km on the clock)

A diesel was advertised in the booklets but I didnt see any at the dealers I went to.

Also in regards to floor mats, my brother baught the factory mats from Mazda for my Birthday. They fit nicely and look good!

I bought my first and last new car a while ago

Bought a brand new Ford F-350 diesel pickup in 2002. Got it for $10K under sticker and I still lost 5-10K when I drove it off the lot. I have had no issues with it at all and will hit the magic 100K(miles) tomorrow on the way to work. I don't really like new cars (and I can fix them) so I will be sticking with old ones from now on. I will keep the truck until it dies in another 400K. My other cars are a 73 Porsche 914 that is getting a Subaru engine and transmission and an 80 Volvo 244 that will be my daily driver once I get the dash reinstalled.
