Bozak 302A replacement tweeters

Hello,

Has anyone dropped in 2 new 4 ohm or 1 new 8 ohm tweeter into a Bozak B-302A after doing the Tobin Modifications? If so what have you tried? Thanks

Has anyone swapped out their 302a tweeters?

I have a pair of Bozak DMS 5500 they use the traditional Bozak woofer and mid-range, but use a Peerless dome tweeter.

How is the sound on it for you?

The treble response is as expected with a Bozak, it rolls off gently. They never scream at you unless the recording demands it. The Peerless is a fine tweeter, but I suspect Rudy's crossover is the reason it sounds so sweet.

I use the original crossover designs in my Bozak's.
