Broken Dialistat switch: compatible models or "plastic solder" glue to fix ?

Hi,

I need to replace the broken start switch of a Dynacord IST 104.
The original model is a Dialistat 2-pole type (DPDT), same as the one pictured below but with a larger metal holder allowing screwing it to a metal plate, itself attached to the metal body of the turntable.
The blue plastic axis broke: unless there is a reliable glue which can stick both parts by slightly melting the surfaces together (acetone does nothing), I must find an exact replacement due to the way it attaches to the chassis, otherwise I may not be able to use the same rectangular push-button passing through the body.

Anyone if these can be still found or whether there's an exact replacement ?

Can you drill it down through the center of the shaft for a splint?

Can't help you with a direct replacement but if you can find a junk dealer specializing in electronics he may be able to find something. Alternately, contact Digikey or Mouser with your query.
 
I'd try fixing the shaft with some 5 min epoxy. There's bunch of contact pins on the switch but I bet not all of them are used. If you have to replace it make sure you get something that has the right contacts. Alternately, you may have to go with a different switch that's not a PCB mount and use flying leads to the board.

Here's the photo of the broken Dialistat latching switch. It seems that the same was made by Isostat but not sure. It may also have been used in Neve equipment.
I may be able to salvage the body of model SW20502 pictured above, but can't find any at the moment.
If this model is momentary, I can always install the miniature plastic lever in the 20502 to add the latching as long as there is provision for it.
Else, all I need is something with the same pin spacing, compatible plastic axis for the red button (it's a bit thiner than classic types), and compatible frame for screwing.
Any ideas ? Thanks !

With some luck I found an old ebay listing for the 2PDT switch and the seller still has some.
I thought about sticking the parts together but that was done in the past already and I prefer using a new part.
