Brrr, Winter New England AK FrankenFest get together - SATURDAY FEBRUARY 28TH

It occurs to me that while posting earlier, I appear ungrateful =( Frank, thank you so much for hosting the event, it was a lot of fun!

Thanks to Frank and Jim for hosting and organizing another great event. Good times, as always!!

PS: Whoever brought the donuts in the white bags, they were excellent!

Those were Tony's Donuts from Portland, Maine. Glad you liked them!

Thanks to all for a fun (first) fest! Nice to meet many of you for the first time.

-Nick

Street address does it, Address to Frank Carpenter or Nashoba CNC
55 Sterling Street
Clinton MA, 01510

This is why I can't go camping....... :pity: frank... Does the shop have a suite number or is the
Street address sufficient?

Also, trying to remember who I was talking too (Ian?) about some 6sc7 tubes.... Hmmmmm

Welp... I missed it again.
Maybe I need an audio makeover or something- audio just hasn't done it for me lately! Hopefully in June-hopefully not the 20th- as my son is getting married the 19th.
Thanks for hosting Frank-
Chris

We took your needs into account - June 27th is the next event.

Hey, I just wanted to give big thanks to "El CarpCarp", and all the folks who brought spicy-ass noodles, kick-ass deviled eggs, ultra-authentic guacamole, lovingly-chosen craft beers, et cetera. And it was really nice to see so many familiar faces, and so many new faces....all of whom are like-minded, conversation-lovin', borderline-hoarders, who love music, and all the gear required to enjoy music. A great turn out for a winter meet, and the very best way EVER to get away from my wife's ever-growing chore list.

It's with a sad heart that I have to say this past "Frankenfest" was most likely the last one for Susie and I. The company I work for is transferring us to Tennessee and we are moving to the Nashville area. I was there again last week and as of this past Tuesday it's official. I start down there on the 13th of April and will be flying back and forth weekly until the end of May when the moving company heads South.
We'll miss you all and the great times there at Frank's place. It has been very special for us.
I will start a thread shortly in the "Backalley Pub" forum searching for AK members in Tennessee. I can only hope that there is half the comeraderie there that we have here in the Northeast.
Thank you all for the friendship and I hope to stay in touch via AK threads at the very least.

Sincerely, Al. Wise

A new chapter, new beginnings...I'm sure you'll be great in the new location. All of the very best to you and your lovely wife. You'll be missed in Clinton.

I'm sad to lose two of the good ones, but this is an opportunity for you to find or build another great audio community.
I know you're just the kind of couple to do it.
Best if luck.

Al, great to have met you and your wife! Sorry to lose you guys, but many more opportunity lie ahead!

Al - sorry to hear you will not be joining us soon, and best wishes for your new chapter! I am sure you will find many AKers down south - maybe start an 'Al-ken-fest'?

Yeah, best of luck to you Al, I've enjoyed getting to know you both a bit from a few gatherings I've attended at Frank's. At least Nashville is a thriving music scene. :music:
