Hi all!
I'm an audio novice and new to this forum. I'm hoping to retrieve your support in which amplifier I should get for my budget multizone project as I'm currently going back and forth on this matter...
I'm currently renovating my house and have invested in both Lithe Audio and Micca in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and I have drawn the speaker cables into the various rooms. I intend to have 6-7 separate zones. I also plan to buy Google Chromecast audios as input to the various zones as I mainly use Google in my smart home.
In terms of sound quality I am used to a Bose 500 home speaker and would prefer to have it sound like that or better if possible, I have looked at Dayton Audios MA1260 and MA1240 which appear to be decent amplifiers for my need? Considering the number of speakers I have, I realize I might have to invest in two amplifiers (which in the end could be a good thing since I later intend to expand the number of zones). With that said I am open for all your suggestions as long as it's within budget
Planned setup:
ZONE | ROOM | NUMBER OF SPEAKERS | SPEAKER DESCRIPTION
1 Living room 2pcs Micca M-6C 6 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
2 Kitchen 4pcs Micca M-8C 8 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
2 Dining room 2pcs Micca M-CS Dual 5.25 Inch 2-Way MTM in-Wall Speaker
3 Hallway 2pcs Micca M-6C 6 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
4 Office 2pcs Micca M-6C 6 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
5 Laundry room 2pcs Micca M-6C 6 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
6 Master bedroom 1pcs Micca M-6C 6 Inch 2-Way In-Ceiling In-Wall Speaker
6 Master closet 1pcs Micca M-CS Dual 5.25 Inch 2-Way MTM in-Wall Speaker
6 Master bathroom 2pcs Lithe audio passive 6.5″ IP44 in ceiling speaker
Financials:
My wife friendly budget for the amplifier(s) and Chromecasts has been set to between $1 000 and $2 500.
