Budget options from recent years

I am needing to buy a new receiver for my audio system since my current stereo receiver lacks the features needed to work well with a home theater set up. Money is an object. I need to buy a receiver with a subwoofer option and would like to know what recent receivers I should look up to get a deal today.

Do you need 4k video? If not you can go a little older and get more power and features (RX-V671 for example). I would also try to find a "networked" AVR to access some additional features.

Take a look at accessoriesforless.com, too. Lot's of "refurbed" newer units and "last year's model" at decent prices. More than what you found on eBay, but not too bad. Their site does take some searching, as they tend to feature certain brands - Denon right now.
