Hi All-
I recently rediscovered my salvaged single 1970s Bozak E-305 (cabinet only, about 27 x 20 x 15 deep inside) into which I had planted a single JBL 2220B 16 ohm and covered up the other openings. I also installed an Altec 100A Bass Energizer low pass filter. Because of where it was stored it the cabinet has a musty smell that I can't get rid of. Anyway, it was a fun experiment when I had this huge living room and an MC60 to drive it off my Sony preamp center out. Now I have far less space and perhaps some time on my hands again. I found some enclosure size info for the JBL Pro series drivers and it calls for 3 cubic feet, inside dimensions 21 x 17 x 15 inches for 40Hz tuning. I'm ready to put something like this together for a shop project. Recommendations? And if anyone in the Twin Cities area wants to come and pick up the cabinet only, it free!
