I knew I should have written that down. I thought I'd remember it. Seems like it was about 60 lbs. Can't remember now if that was with or without the table. I'll try and weigh it now with the table.Thanks for this post! Nice job. May I ask what was the final weight of the plinth assembly?
Never thought of it. When reading now about using lead and all the cautions (do it outside the house, don't inhale, wash hands, etc) that thought just never occurred.And also, you mentioned that you, or your friends, cast toys as children - did you consider melting and pouring molten lead into the cavities rather than glue with shott?
In a pinch one person can do it, but it's better with two just because it's a little awkward. I brought my scale into the listening room, but it weighs me 60 pounds less, so I doubt it can be accurate on the carpet. The door into the room is very small and it's too hard to navigate with something this heavy!!What does that thing weigh? Does it take three people to move it?
