Burger King

The very first one where the guy wakes up and the king is in bed with him pegged the creepy meter and its only gotten worse.
 
Fast food kind of lost it's appeal for me.....when a high school friend of mine.....breaded-n'-cooked a dead rat.....and put it in a bucket of Gino's fried chicken.

What gets me is that the local BK is up on a hill overlooking town. When you drive by there, the aroma is out-of-this-world. Smells better than filet mignon. And then you get one of their burgers, & it tastes as plastic & unreal as the king hisself...How they manage that is beyond me.
 
Creeps me out too... I stopped eating there since the commercials aired a few years ago. Plus the manager at one location looked like a freak in his own way. I was to grossed out to have him handle my food, I turned around and went to Subway. I bet its been 2 years since I've been in one.
 
Just a thought. It looks like the BK advertising is aimed at anyone who AUTOMATICALLY thinks unusual/irreverent = cool.

IMO the BK version of unusual/irreverent = STUPID....... with a side order of creepy.
 
I saw an interview of the CEO of Burger King about two years ago.

As I recall, he said about 70% of their business is from customers that eat at Burger King at least once a week and they have many customers that eat there 3 to 5 times per week.

That is creepy.

The freak show that is the "king" never really enters my thought process when I'm thinking about downing a cheese whopper.:drool: To me their burgers are a lot better than McDonalds, not that I don't eat those too.:D Flame broiled is better than fried.:yes:

I totally agree, I don't have kids or grandchildren but if I did, I'd be letting burger king know about how distasteful that ad is.

Just an afterthought, I think I'll send the link to this thread to burger king after it grows a bit.

When I saw the new "bootie" ad I couldn't really believe I'd seen correctly. Every "Mom's" group in the country should be up in arms about that one. It would be crude aimed at adults but KIDS??? Give me a break!
 
I think its very creepy!I eat at Burger King on occasion but the "Medium " fries sure look like a "smalll' to Me!
 
I can't believe a lot of you people are SO offended about the commercial but are completely okay with the fact that Burger King (and pretty much every other fast food chain...) has pretty much been poisoning every kid out there with the food they serve for as long as they've been around.

People are a trip.
 
BKs new "Bootie" ad is in retaliation to Carls Jr's "Flat Buns" commercial.

Consider the target.
