I used to have a Rega P3 with a Dynavector 10X5 attached. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to sell it about a year ago. I can now finally afford to replace my old turntable!! Ive always thought I would upgrade to the P6, but after seeing this the other day, I'm not quite sure what to do.
I know I'm going to buy used. And I know I want my Dynavector back. Should I hold out for a used P6 and then replace the cart which would be another $650 new, or is this P5 with the already attached cart and upgrades a better deal? Basically is the P6 that much of an improvement over the P5? Is the RB303 pretty close to the RB700 arm?
Also, in the future I've always wanted to try out the Dynavector 20X2L. Can the P5 handle this?
Thanks!!
