C-60 dropping one (or both channels)

Hey, so I'm looking for some advice here regarding a frustrating yamaha C-60, long story short, after a period of being idle, at low volume it will drop on or both channel, sometimes sounding fuzzy (like a dirty control). I would assume the controls are dirty, however, aside from the sealed volume pot, everything has been cleaned, there's no noise or crackle from any of the controls or push switches.

I did notice that if I move the volume pot the channel will usually come back in, however unlike a usual dirty volume pot there's no crackle when turning it, it's quiet as can be all the way across.

Any ideas were to look? Did I possibly miss a switch upstream of the volume pot?

The unit had caps that were out of spec replaced already, and I've gone and reflowed any suspect solder connections.

Volume control needs to be disassembled and cleaned as well as the balance control right beneath it.
