C32 Component List?

I am looking for a simple list of transistors and electrolytic capacitors for each of the boards in a C32. If someone has such a list, ideally grouped by board and mapping component identities to values (e.g., Left Input Switching, C201 = 3.3uF / 25V, and so on), that would be fantastic.

I didn't see such a list in the service manual, but if I missed it, please let me know and apologies for my ignorance. I also spent a decent amount of time looking for such a list earlier today, and came up empty.

Are you planning on "re-transistoring" as well as re-capping your unit?
 
McIntosh always have parts lists in the service manuals.
I just used one recently for the C33 I just repaired.
C32 manual will be the same.
 
Hmm, the only parts list in the manual I have is on p.42 of the PDF and lists diodes, transistors, ICs, and other chassis-level items, including the two 4700uF caps, but there's no list of the rest of the capacitors. Are there missing pages perhaps?
 
As a general rule Mac only listed parts that they stocked which they considered difficult for their dealers to source locally.

They do have such a disclaimer on that page: "All parts not listed are common items obtainable from radio parts jobbers."
 
It seems that people posting on this thread know the C32 pretty well, so I'm hoping that I can get integrated circuit parts replacement information that seems to be elusive.

I am preparing to refurbish a C32 with new caps and cables, but, from what I've read on various forums, it may be advantageous to replace a number of the integrated circuits while I am at it.

My goal is to buy the correct replacement ICs tbefore I tear it apart so I can do my rebuild without waiting for parts. However, there are a few of the ICs that I can't find replacement part numbers for and I want verify that the ones that I think are correct. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a McIntosh parts guide, the C32 manual doesn't identify the common replacement IC numbers and an email to McIntosh only provided me only with what they will charge me for the parts (with a substantial price markup vs buying them from Mouser or other good source) instead of the needed IC replacement numbers.

Here is are the ones that I think are correct based on internet research (please verify!):

McIntosh Number Replacement Part
133-043 LF356N or LF356W (is one better than the other?)
133-068 LM201N or LM201AN (is one better than the other?)
133-040 MPQ6100A

These are the unknowns:

McIntosh Number Replacement Part
133-042 ?
133-051 ?
133-066 ?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated, and, hopefully, this will serve to help others in the future by having a list of all of C32 IC replacement part numbers in one place.

Does anybody knows about replacement for the IC 011 / 043?
It sits on one of the the tape boards, and is defective. Serial Number of the C32 is AY8697.

Take a look at my previous thread, the 043 is an LF356N. You can get them at Mouser, Digikey or other places.
 
LF356 is still available. Use LM741 as a replacement for LM201.

Thanks, I already ordered the LF356, but I was not sure because the ~011 marking on the top of the IC. I hope it is the only defective part. When turned on, the IC gets immediately hot.
It will arrive in a week or so,

Could be. I ended up replacing all of the caps and cables in my unit and it now works great. All of my ICs were okay.
