Can anybody Identify these speakers

I'm just a guessin' but perhaps they're home built. If so they appear to be pretty well thought out; the builder had something in mind.

I'm guessing DIY as well, using JBL components. They do look to be pretty well thought out.

When the outside frame of the cabinet protrudes past the front baffle, usually velcro or a friction fit is used rather than pegs. However, I agree homebuilt based on the plexi brackets. But if I was convinced that the builder is as good a designer as s/he is a cabinet maker, I'd get them.

They do indeed look like JBL drivers. I'd say high power handling type drivers judging by the surrounds. But hard to say without knowing which drivers they are. If the price were right I'd be buying those. But my guess is if the estate sale happened someone scooped those up already. Cabinets took a lot of work as well as the clear frames. Those butt cheek tweeters sound very nice by the way.

Those aren't 2404's. They look like 2342's, the same bi-radial used in 4425's. Question is what drivers are on them.

Those things are bigger than I thought then. Indeed, what else is in them... I'm curious. I actually like them. Man, I wish I could find some 4425/30/35s here. I always wanted a pair. Love the look.

If you line the 2344, 2342, and 2404 up next to each other they look like the 3 bears, papa, mama, and baby.
The 2344, and 2342 can be pretty hard to distinguish without something near them to show scale. The 2404 is a little easier as it only has 2 mounting screws along the sides.

The speaker covers are grills that just cover the drivers, the grills are sitting on top of the woofers in this picture

LOL, I can see it. The 3 bears. Man, they would look so cute on my shelf.
The architecture would suggest that the upper portion can be tilted down to the listener relative to the lower portion, similar to a high end offering from someone such as Wilson.
They do look well thought out, but if infact the driver is the 2416, as used on the 4425s, it would be inferior to the 2420/2425 offerings.
And, of course, they could be aftermarket butt cheeks in which case the drivers could be...
(I have aftermarket butt cheeks in my four surround speakers with 2425 drivers.)

They were asking 1500. for them so I passed but I didn't want to. These things were bigger in person than they look in the picture about 5 feet tall the top portions were able to swivel I was not able to see behind them and look for a label They looked factory made to me but I do not know for sure
I am not sure they look like a standard three way design

Have to wonder how they came up with a price like that, with no information on them. It might have been worth leaving your name and number in case they decide to reduce the price or take highest bid.
