I think they are Soundwave Fidelity's, a NY speaker company from the mid 80's to mid 90's. Jim Gala was the owner & it might have also been under the name Vero Research.

Well, now I'm reconsidering -- notice how the Soundwaves in the ad are pentagonal up and down, whereas the those in the picture have a square base and pentagonal top...

That's what I'm thinking. We've got a pair of Soundwaves here at the shop, and they are indeed pentagonal bottom and top...

Don't know if Vero Research (which is correct, BTW) made any different models with different base shapes...

I went and looked at them this evening only bad part it was a package deal I had to haul home a 42 inch rear projection tv and some other BPC in the deal. They are Soundwave VR-1 speakers in excellent shape got it all for $270. The tv is going to go back on CL probably so I can try to get a little of my money back and try to make the wife not as mad as she already is. I haven't unloaded them from the truck yet but as soon as I do and get them hooked up I'll chime in what I think about them.

Its cool that you got them, When I first saw the Soundwave information posted in this thread.

My impression was that it seemed to be a possibly improved concept based on the DCM Timewindow design. I think that the centered tweeter would sound better. Let us know how they sound, and post naked pics.

klama2006... This is the main reason I went and picked them up I am a big fan of the DCM Timewindow's. I have a pair of the TW-1's and bought another pair of TW-3's here a couple weeks ago off of CL. I thought by the looks of them they would be similar to the timewindow's. I ran some tunes through them real quick this evening before the wife and kids went to bed. I think the timewindows might have a little bit of an edge but I'll need more time to listen to be for sure. The last pic has the TW-3's that I got couple weeks ago.
