Can anyone help me identify this Bon Jovi tape

I recently bought this Bon Jovi tape. I took photos of it and uploaded details to a new release on Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/Bon-Jovi-These-Days/release/16301256

Can anyone tell me what this is? Is it bootleg, is it made by Mercury. It's Type II and still has tabs in.

I don't know anything about Bon Jovi, but that tape is the plainest-looking "commercial issue" since the Beatles' White Album. I'm thinking a boot, or at best some kind of sample tape. Searching for "bon jovi these days" shows quite colorful artwork. Dunno, man; I'm a 78-rpm collector.

Reddit told me its a promo tape sent to radio stations and reviewers, etc. It was recorded in real time on chrome tape. I'm pretty happy with it now

Real promo tapes have “Promotional Copy -Not for Resale” printed on the shell and were never TypeII. It’s just a bootleg copy which can range from excellent to poor. If you like it, enjoy it!

Looks like either a promo copy or possible bootleg/unofficial copy. Hard to know for sure. Most promo tapes have "promo copy" or something similar on them, but not all. I have some promo/demo tapes that don't have the "promo copy" message on them and are Type II tape as well.

A google for Mercury promo cassettes shows a couple others that look like this as well. I've seen some other promo/advance cassettes that I assumed were bootlegs due to similar plain packaging but discovered they were legitimate.
