Can anyone ID these speakers?

Hey y'all, these are local to me. They look nice from a (poor) pic, but I'm interested to see if anyone can ID them. And, if they're worth dropping a 20-spot for.

Can't say for sure but they look potentially promising. Send a quick email and ask if you haven't.

Interesting how the speaker holes overlap. Wonder if there's a cone tweeter on one of the woofers. I'd pick 'em up for the 20 bux.

Throw the $20 at them. My guess is that they're something halfway decent from the early-mid 1970s. Looks like real wood rather than vinyl, and the dual openings behind the grill cloth look intriguing.

At worst, you should be able to sell them for what you have into them.

I just called the guy...he said that the badges on the front denoted that they were Technics but the original paper on the back with the model number got torn off so he doesn't know what model it is. Also said they weigh about 20 - 25 lbs. a piece and that there is a 10" woofer in 'em. Not sure if they would still be worth it...

My first thought was Quadraflex, so I searched my images. I had this pair. I painted them White.

Look at the grill cut outs. Look the same.

If they are this particular pair of Quadraflex, I would pass.
