Can anyone identify these old Bose speakers?

local guy selling these old Bose speakers. He says they work, has no other photos and says they’re loud. Anyone know the model? Thanks so much!

Yes, schnitzle is right. A frind of mine in college had them. They sounded good in a dorm room.
 
Had a pair of the Series III models, similar to these. They were OK, not fatiguing in any way shape or form, but were crushed by anything even remotely close to their current used prices. I'd look elsewhere for a pair of bookies.
If you want loud, these can do that for you.

I use those on the back channels of my quad system. You'll probably want to tear into yours to see what makes em tick, so I'll save you the trouble. They really excel at opening up the field back there due to Bose' usual fun with reflectivity ...

And yes, they'll definitely rock out. The stuff on top of mine is glued down so I don't end up wearing it ...
