Can center be too low ? Your preference?

Yeah there is no way I can set the tv directly on top of center speaker it’s too small.
And settings it besides the tv would not work . Would not be in center .

Yea these are just not deep enough , I was able to set this tv on my klipsch center , but I need that speaker for my bedroom. Wish I could afford two id just re hook the klipsch up. I tried putting a board over it but it’s not stable enough.
I wish it FIT!!!!:(:jump:

yes numerous times
my entertainment stand is lower than i like
i dont want to wall mount
last 3 tv's have been on a riser of some kind
even my pc monitor is on a riser,in that case its the old monitor

....... put them on your shelf, with ugly part turned in
.... put a suitable board on top of them... done ... you have a riser or
put your riser on your feather speakers

take that thing thats in the riser and put it else where
cut a couple pieces of 2 x 4
use them under the legs of your current riser shelf what ever it is
done
no nails no nothing
just a piece of junk wood and a saw
come on use a tiny bit of imagination no nerves involved ... this is pretty simple
heck a couple old bricks will do
 
So, dude - you imagine its a book shelf - stack some bricks on each side of your Center speaker,
then lay some board across the bricks that can support your TV.
- OR -
You buy a solid Wall Mount and mount the TV on THAT - and forget the Bricks and Shelves.

Ideally the mid and tweeters should be all the same height. But like you I find the tweeters and mids about 8" under the screen for the center channel. The more directional your speakers the more you will notice the difference, but issues from floor canceling refections coloring the sound will be reduced. I have a thick padded carpet so the issue isn.t that severe for the center channel. But if you listen to pink noise on my channels no matter how close I get the sound to measure the same with the spectrum analyzer, you can still sense a difference. I really need to fire up a TEF to look at the direct sound as it relates to the reflected sounds and the early reflections. I did at one time and I guess I need to do it again. There should be no early reflections as they are the most offensive. and destructive. Thats why current speakers are tall and slim with multiple woofers and rounded edges to reduce early reflections. Sound from the reverberant field if not to strong supports the mid and bass giving that warmth and re-enforced bass keeping sound from being sterile and give that extra openness we all want in some degree.

Do you think with proper placement it should sound a lot better ? Pro logic 1 is more like 3ch theater mode on my onkyo .
Don’t hear much at all from surrounds.
My dad has a ryobi mitre saw, I need to look up online how to use it . I got enough scrap wood I won’t need the bricks

Tonally there won't be much difference but as for completely finishing the sound image it will make a big difference .
