Actually it has a bit of an altar-like character to it.

That reminds me of an entertainment center that I saw in the local Habitat for Humanity. It was for putting a TV in and had a peak like the old Cathedral radios, red drapes everywhere, etc.

I swear, my first thought was "That looks like a shrine to the great god Television!"

I don't have a pic, because I didn't want my phone to self-destruct.

I found it a couple of years ago on our local c/l and was lets say quite impressed. I do agree however that red velvet thing is pretty damn nasty as well.

Last week I was finally able to check out on one of those all in one fireplace, bar, stereo thingys. Not so sure I would classify it all that ugly but definately a great example of cornie 70's chinsey crap. I know a little off-base for this thread but imho definately worthy of mention.

BTW, I sure hope Resident is mistaking about the AR3's although I have suspected it all along, it would be a shame to do that to a pair
