Yep, Crystal Red tintcoat, it's the color in all the commercials and whatnot. Funny that you see them all the time. I've never seen a CTS in Red. Well, I did see a CTS-V in red.

I see lots of silver ones. Unfortunate, 'cause that's the worst looking color for any car.
 
Buicks of the 1970s; always brown or tan....

Lexus (regardless of model or year); always silver or gray...

A few others that come to mind:

'66 Chevelle SS396 - Marina Blue

'67 Firebird - Firebird Green

'70 Challenger - Plum Crazy

I know there are others. The first Corvettes were ALL Polo White. And the T-Ford was "Any color as long as it's black".

Are there any other cars that bring a particular color to mind when you think of them?:scratch2:

Ferrari, Alfa, Maserati - red.
Triumph, Jaguar, MG, British racing green!

Most Caddy's I see round these parts, black or silver. Black being the most common and in a place were the sun shines hot! most of the year!
 
My grandad had a '68 Caddy Sedan SeVille that was that ultra-fugly Avocado Green that SO many cars, fridges, stoves, EVERYTHING was back then. It wasn't green, it wasn't gold, it wasn't brown, it was HORRIBLE mish-match of all 3. And the interior was the same color, it was a brocade material. At least Grandaddy Fritz COULD have gotten a vinyl top to break up the dreadful monotony of that steaming pile, but he didn't.

My mother bought a brand-new '69 Dodge Dart sedan in that color, with a gold shiny interior... I hope she got a discount in return for accepting that color! And it didn't have power brakes or air... But it was a great car! After she died in '88, I gave it to a friend for his aunt, who had no $, and she drove it for years... Up 'til about 5 years ago I think!
