Years ago picked this Fisher walnut cabinet up.

So what does it go to?

To wide for the console pulls like FM200B or X101B I have.

I'm thinking for a receiver even a solid state maybe.

If it's a genuine Fisher cabinet, it may have a label on the bottom with the cabinet model number on it. This is from the 1 Feb 1966 price list
listing equipment models and the cabinet model that fits them.

Does not fit the 500C that I have.
No label on the bottom.
The reason I think it is a Fisher is due to the way the cabinet is made with the routered line across the top and the metal screen. Much like the cabs and screen on other Fisher cabinets I own.

Might be the 400T checking the measurements.

Might be for one of the late 60's big chassis receivers like the 500-TX/800-T, 500-T, 550-T, 700-T.

It has the straight rail front foot. If the bottom looks like below, it is for the T Series receivers as Larry guessed:

If it is a Fisher cabinet, don't forget the TA-600 and TA-800, technically being the 600 and 800 receivers. They were wider and not as tall as the later receivers, and a 202-T comes to mind as well for possibilities.

Yeah, that cab smells Fisher: Screen, bottom material, cutouts, staples; everythig except rubber rear feet. There, you can see where blocks were lost.

I've not paid much attention to the later receivers of any series so, as Dave mentioned, this may fit the TA series of receivers as well. What is certain is that Fisher face plate dimensions was a common denominator across many different models and so long as the front fits, the rear is often ignored as well as the cutouts. Of course the height of the cab had to accommodate the tranny and tubes as well.

I purchased it years ago along with with a few Fisher units.
None of which would fit into the cabinet.

The owner had passed so asking at the time was not an option.

A 600-T cabinet should be 16-3/4 wide for the front panel with 16-1/2 opening and 5-1/8 high panel with 4-13/16 opening. I'd bet that the 700-T would use the same cabinet.
