Cassette machine w/o DC/Servo motor

Howdy,
I am looking to find a cassette tape machine that doesn't have DC/Servo motors.
I have sensitivity to them and would like to find a quality player to add to my system.

Earlier Tandberg decks used an AC capstan motor; can look at TCD 300, 310, 310MkII, 320, 330, 340A models. The 340A and 330 are 3-head decks, all are dual capstan.

Caveat 1: there was a retrofit kit for these that subbed a DC servo capstan motor for the original AC motor, might see that on a 330 or 340A here or there so pop the bottom cover to check for that.

Caveat 2: they all use direct-drive reel motors, only belts are for the capstan and tape counter. Not a bad thing, but those are DC motors.

Many early 70's cassette decks. Teac A-350, A-360, A-450 are among the better ones. Advent 201 also
+1 on the Tandbergs,,,,

Go 201A if you consider the Advent, it's a noticeably better version than the original 201.
