CD only spin list

I lost the disc about 15 years ago, but I kept the case... I found the disc earlier this week and it's back in my rotation.

Japanese bootleg - “Female AOR Vol. 1” of rare or demo tracks from Gudrun Laos, Chrissy Steele and Aina Olsen.

I am a fan of Gudrun and Chrissy, but unfamiliar with Aina.

I have the Laos - “We Want It” CD, purchased a few years ago. I vaguely remember them around 1990-ish and was confused by the band name. They’re obviously not Laotian. Turns out that’s her last name or stage name. She also goes by Aino Laos. It’s all rather confusing.

Seems she’s British (?) and is married to Jorg Fischer from Accept.

Every track is definitely a worthwhile listen.

Listened to some Aina Olsen - “Living in a Boy’s World” on YouTube. Too bubble-gum for me.

Seems she had some musical association with the late Marcie Free née Mark Free.

Sticky Fingers CD tonight!!

Haven't heard the album for over 20 years. Kinda burnt on it, played it way too much.
BUT... found a M- CD today for $2. Really looking forward to it! An old friend revisited!! It is such a GREAT album!! This will be fun!!

On a somewhat related note, I want to mention this sort of container purchased at Staples is, as you can see, very useful for storing CDs. I have quite a few in there and I was also able to slide two KK’s Priest CDs into the side.

Its brand name is “Really Useful Box.” There is also a larger size.

I use this for organizing CDs to which I listen on drives.

No affiliation to Staples of course.
