I got randomness to choose from
And Phillips Magnovox but it’s the lightest one so .... probably won’t be using that .
No Santa midranges this time , and grilles all suck non removable .
Shock and awe , can’t afford a klipsch center right now . Or something clearer, ‘‘tis is for my downstairs system , sad times .

What are your main (front left, front right) speakers? I would say that matching your center to your front mains is going to be the most important. Even if it's not the "best" center on it's own, if it matches better with your mains then it should be better for your system.

thats the dilemma my matching center is in my bedroom , but it does not sound well with my tower speakers . Look at my bedroom system .
If brought it downstairs , what would I replace it with in my bedroom? I cannot afford another floorstander or a higher end klipsch center.
Might be easier to use my sony speakers or rca fronts, they are voice matched .

Is it ok for rear surround facing from front if you have no way to wall mount them. ? I have then sitting on top of fronts .
Maybe try the original speakers for a while ?

Yeah how on earth do you move surrounds to back the wires are so annoying . Wish I had a cheap wireless speaker router .
Pictures of klipsch icon then center sounds harsh compared to floor-standers . With my onkyo it may work with tHis Sony .
Still angry I got the smaller floorstanders for my bedroom . If I had got larger one could forgo the center channel.

Probably best to just run in 2channel/stereo mode (if you can) until you buy wire and get the surrounds behind you.

Do you think my bedroom system would sound better without a center ? Or no would it still do 7 channels .
How do you hide the wires ?? For surrounds.
I may try the Sony’s , but odds are I’m going back to klipsch.

I think so as long as your main speakers have good a midrange. I'll take stereo mode with speakers that can reproduce decent vocals over 5.1 with a center speaker that can't...and a lot of them can't.

As for hiding wires, tuck them under the carpet or carefully under the baseboards.

May be to add carpeting , sucks My friend threw out all my carpet scraps . I got none . Yeah what about 7ch on my room klipsch icon center can often sound strained as it’s sealed .

It’s a old system was in garage you sure they won’t sound good ? Why do Sony woofers slightly yellow as they get older .
Probably better of running 2 ch klipsch.
Pioneer sounds the best so far .

Ahh that is explains it , they even smelled like smoke .
Sounds best without a center until I get a klipsch one or something.

This is probably the hardest avr to find speakers to use with .
The klipsch May be over bright and it does not have enough treble lowering controls .

There fine except for stereo 2 ch . This avr turns them into like PA speakers .
I’ll keep trying but to find a working set up .
They might still be my best option.
