Ceramic cartridge

Hi Guys, I picked up a Decca arm with ceramic cart a a local garage sale for very little money.
Question is, can I play this though my headphone amp, it's a Topping D50s,

Ceramic cartridges need 1-2 megaohm loading for decent bass response. Loading with less will result in very weak bass.

One option is to load each channel of the ceramic with 1k resistors to ground and then feed to a MM phono stage.
