Cerwin Vega speaker help needed

Aerosmith "The Big 10 Inch" :rockon: I think you are right about the 101-W2. But I will say a lot of sellers on FleaBay lay claim to CV woofers working in several different models across different series. We know that isn't true. :D I've seen some say "will fit.. (about 10 different models)" so I always take it with a grain of salt. Thanks!

Two more for a cross-check. i get what you mean about "some say will fit". I just went through that pain..........I have a few extra sets of mids to prove it!! I just cross check a hundred times now :crazy:

Yeah I saw them too. Cross-checking on FleaBay? :crazy::p That guy with the one woofer is also selling "D3" tweeters. But the D3 I have has the round tweeter, not square. :dunno:

Yes, then that would be easier to cross-check (square vs round). Heck, they may have even used both????
It would be nice if Cerwin Vega had their "poop" together so it wouldn't be so hard to get this kind of info, but this is what we have to do now, I guess.

I've still got parts from a set of u - 321's that I had refoamed for my grandson and of course he hooked up to a subwoofer amp just to see how far he could push them.
Killed me to throw away those woofers. They had been frozen from the 1000 watt subwoofer amp with high distortion. Other drivers were fine.
And yes, I had repeatedly told him do not hookup to a subwoofer amp, only a 100 watt receiver which I would give him. But you know young people......
hence, no more speakers for him :-)
