Ces 2009

Can someone tell me if there a way for me to filter out individual members' posts, so that I never have to see their comments again? I don't find posts like the above particularly appropriate or beneficial to the ongoing discussion. Perhaps it is meant tongue-in-cheek, but it just comes across as tacky to me.

Yes, go into your "User CP" control panel, & click edit ignore list. Put in the users name & click OK.

Well individually they are only $6k or so... :) Actually when I bought mine earlier this year I think they were closer to $11k total, including custom paint matching?

The Duettes were the best choice for my (rather small) listening space... It came down to bookshelves or in-walls, so I went with the best bookshelf I could find. The rest of the Wilson line is not to my tastes aesthetically, but the Duettes are fit reasonably well. And they sound great too!

Now if only I had an AP1000 to feed them... CES?

I for one would rather discuss the gear and music than, in this case, old news. Gossip is something best left to those that don't have a life.

Thanks,
Ron-C

jdubbs,
Are you using the 402 to drive the Duettes? Like gregswaim the Duettes are my favorite Wilson speakers, though I do like the Sophia2 as well. From there on up in the Wilson product line I really lose interest, the bigger Wilson's just don't do it for me. My local Mac dealer is also a Wilson dealer and I'm hoping to be able to bring the Duettes home at some point for a weekend listen in my own room. I'd really like to be able to compare them head to head with the new KEF Reference 201/2, of which I've read stellar reviews.

A friend has Duettes with a pair of JL Fathom f112's and Classe electronics. It is a terrific sounding system.
