Changing headshell too often?

it would be as simple as matching the diameter to a corresponding ceramic bearing on Boca Bearing's website. The bearings my Mitsu uses are the same as used for a lot of high end RC helicopters.
I made a tonearm from scratch 30 years ago. I don't know about RC helicopters, but I found a beautiful set of bearings from the guidance-system of a French Exocet anti-ship missile; one had recently sunk a British destroyer from 30 miles away during The Falklands War, so I figured the bearings must be at least decent.

If you're trying to out-sarcasm me well done...if not that's super cool!

Well i finally have a turntable with a removable headshell tonearm, which has prompted me to put every cart I own on a seperate headshell. So a day doesnt go by where I dont change my headshell/cart at least once a day just to hear different combos. The issue is I cant help but think this is killing the bearings in my tonearm every time I tighten up a new shell onto my arm, which is probably why theres so many 1200s that lived in clubs where the arms are shot. People with multiple headshell/carts...how do you handle it? Have you ever damaged a tonearm driving yourself nuts trying out new carts?

This only means that you didn't get a good cartridge yet. Proper way to handle it - sell all your cartridges and get one that is at least twice as expensive as all other combined. Than stick with it until needle wears out (usually 1000 hours).

Yeah...that's not what that means.

I didn't know you were being sarcastic, so I couldn't "try to out-sarc you." So I guess that means it's cool (not so super, but thanks).

Here's the arm, by the way. A bit scruffy and scratched after 30 years — and the pic ain't so good after 3 glasses of wine. You can't see those ship-killer bearings, they're covered by the heads of the shafts through their center-races.
