Chicago/Elgin area going to MidwestFest

[Rex Everything]

Hey all,

I've found some equipment(Amp, Pre and Tuner) in the Elgin, Il area and was curious if there was anybody out there in the area that would be heading towards the Midwest Fest @ Army's or may happen to be coming to or near St. Louis that could pick it up and bring it with them.

I'd be happy to compensate you for your troubles.

Let me know

Hey,

Not sure where Midwest Fest is or Army's but I live 20 miles east of Elgin and will be driving to Grinnell, Iowa next weekend (actually very early September 8) to watch my son in a cross country meet. Perhaps that helps?

Let me know.

Thanks for the offer Robie

Midwest Fest III is at Army's near Cedar Rapids on the 8th of Sept. Depending on what time you'd be passing through Iowa City it may work out.

Here is the link to the Fest thread.

Robie and I have a potential deal worked out but if there is anyone else in the area that would like to be a backup in case something unforseen comes up that would be great.

Paul, I picked up your stuff in Elgin yesterday. All three components look really cool and there are manuals for all. Had to resist the urge to hook them up and listen. I do expect a full report though. I was considering buying that power amp when it was being sold far too long ago. No boxes for them but I'll find something to protect them on the ride.

I am still on schedule to have them to you in Iowa sometime around noon. We can verify/refine times by cell phone on Saturday.

Right on Robie:thmbsp: You da man.

I got your message last night but it was late enough that I did not want to call and disturb you. I'll give ya a call this afternoon.

Thanks again so much. You made the whole deal possible.
