Frankly, I'd be all over the '63 Gibby SG Special, not Magnapan's. It seems that they know about the SG and if it is a real '63 it would be worth big bucks.

The Maggies were negotiated down from $2000 to "just a little bit under offer price" per Barbara. THey and the subwoofer were sold in the first couple of hours of the start of the sale although on Saturday AM when I was there the buyer had not picked them up yet! They sounded terrific even at low volume. I had to console myself with a dozen vintage Brubeck LPs which I got for under $20 along with a few Laserdisks...
