It's got a very Grundig look to it for some reason - I have a Grundig amp and tuner which are styled very similar.

Never seen a pop-up cassette deck on a receiver before either. Certainly a rare one.

That looks cool, but I have a Panasonic receiver from that era and it photographs well, but when you really look at it in person and touch it - it has a cheap, plastic feel to it. But they do look cool when you shoot them close-up with a digital camera.
