Classic Receiver & Vintage Speaker pairings

Question I have a Marantz 2230 Receiver and have been trying to figure out what style case is without success via searching Ebay and Google.. If anyone has an Idea your help is appreciated. There was one Marantz 2230 receiver sold on Ebay that had a similar case but was not the same. Appreciate the help.

Welcome to AK! Really, you should start a new thread rather than hijack this one. I will send you a PM that might help answer your question.

If you really want to get down to it my Pioneer SX-1010 and Pioneer HPM-100s and JBL L-100s are the classic match ups. But it boils down to your very own ears that no one else has...
So agree... 1010 and HPM100 is amazing. So unreal big.

Current configurations I'm digging.

Yamaha CR-1020 & Rotel RP-2500 TT w/Polk SDA-1A's - Main Living/Party room of about 25'x40'
Sansui G3000 & Technics SL D-2 TT w/Wharfedale W60 Mk. II's - Bedroom setup
Pioneer SX-838 & BIC 980 TT w/Polk Monitor 10's (a) & Monitor 7's (b) - Brewery Taproom setup

Ok, I’ll play. My vintage Sansui G8700DB (original owner). First had a set of 4 Pioneer HPM-900’s, then 2 Klipsch Quartets, then 2 Sansui SP-5000, and now finally Sansui SP-5500’s. I finally got it right.
I've played the sp5000's with the 5000a (old boards ain't caught fire yet), Kenwood kr-7400 and a little sherwood 7225. The sherwood is fantastic with them.

I just connected some friends from 1969ish and they play great together - Altec Bolero 890c & Sony STR-6060F. Really nice for some near field listening.
