C'mon Sandy... Is This You? Holy Jehofessers If Legit!

Marksy is a character that is probably best avoided, but while he generally does blasphemous things to Infinity speakers in his know-it-all fashion, i have to admit that this is relatively genius here. the question of stability is a different matter, and i'd want some more details before i can accept that they've been "properly" restored.
 
I'm planning on using the same technique on 2 pairs of those Zenith omnidirectional speakers...y'know, the ones that look like plant stands. Can you imagine the sound??
 
I've never seen these in the flesh, but even with the omnidirectional diffractoreflectorthingy, wouldn't you have omnidirectional comb filtering?

The MBL speakers which have emerged in the past decade(or so) have an operating principle of 360 degree dispersion of the sound.That always reminded me of the Walsh driver.

The stacked Ohms remind me even moreso of the MBLs.

That upside-down 'cone' is not a diffractor or reflector of a soundwave produced by another mechanism.It is the mechanism which produces the sound wave.
 
MagicMarky, if you are reading this, I realy like this part of your auction:

Why is the price so high?

Because I do not really want to sell them.

Why?

Because, if I do sell them, I will have to track down 2 more good pairs of OHM F speakers, go get them, restore them, and make this double set all over again, for myself.

They are really much too good to sell.

But I wanted to share this design with the rest of you, and I could not think of a better place to show them off than here on E-Bay.
