Coffee

https://www.josuma.com/malabar-gold/

IMHO, the best by far. These guys are also the purveyors of the monsooned malabar. Favorites for years!

A while back, I purchased a "Taster`s Choice"-type variety combo from Coffee AM. They also do the fresh-roast thing, their coffee is very good. Their Indian Monsooned Malabar was probably my favorite, it had a distinctly different taste from all the others. They explained how the beans were left in an open warehouse to age before roasting, which gives their unique character.

There pulling your leg. There aged before they get them.

Josuma are the importers of the Monsooned Malibar, etc.

And how long do you steep?

I leave the heat on for the first minute (water moves to upper bowl), then turn off. Stay on the hot burner for another minute (still stirring) and then move off which accelerates the coffee coming down into the pot. Whole process is about 3 minutes. YMMV.

8 o'clock was my favorite go to coffee. Now that I am older, I have issues with acid reflux so I roast my own for drinking at work using my French press.
For my Jura I prefer Kona coffee, unfortunately due to the volcano's in Hawaii, Kona is difficult to find.

Below are some pictures of my collection of coffee makers. Missing is my stove top mocha maker and French press.

The Miele is being restored, waiting for a new coffee grinder.
