Columbus CL: SX-1980 & Khorns

Yup.

Last I heard he was up to 1200.00 Don't know why he was asking me again if I wanted it. I told hi I couldn't afford 600.00

So, he's probably as flipper. No doubt, like I said before. There are allot of them in my area.

Everyone thinks my current ad is this guy, so if you are thinking about emailing him with some nasty thoughts and what not. I'm not HIM!

I made a deal with a dude 30 miles away for a nice tuna, $120 I think it was. Made the appt for the next morning.
Load up the kiddo, drive the 30, and he opens the door with a ****-eating grin that he had sold it and tried to call me.

My daughter looks up at me and says "Daddy, where's the stereo?"

I told her "He lied to me", right in front of him.

He was still smiling as we walked away.

Next day, it's on Ebay. The owner never sold it as he said, but did his homework after I had made a deal with him and then went back on his word.

I wanted to burn his house down for the principle of the thing. Jackass.

Nuff cryin'.

That'd be my thoughts to,only a piece of **** would waste your time and gas. One should have got a couple friends that could care less about Ebay to run up the bidding and never pay, waiting a week to send him a email through Ebay saying what comes around goes around. I say we should flush all turds.:smoke:

I feel bad for saying it, but I know they're AK members.

I'm not the 1980 phantom and that is all there is to it.

Gentlemen, this thread is getting seriously off track. And as a reminder, ANY reference to items being sold by a member is not permitted in any forum other than Members Classifieds.

Thanks.

Ive been frustrated by CL listings that amazingly go from $50 to $500 from listing time to calling time. But my opinion is that we(and yes,I mean AKers here)are trying to do the same thing we accuse the listers of-get a better deal than we expected to.Dont get me wrong,I love a great deal, but its ironic that weve got AKers taking the moral high ground on this guy, when Ive personally had some dealings with members that could be considered iffy,at best, and I know on at least one occasion,I was the iffy member myself,I wont lie about that.
But a lot of us are compulsive about this,or at least driven in the pursuit of the rock bottom deal.I think what we have here is a very large glass house, and a big box of stones that we shouldnt go within ten feet of.
My opinion only.
Jimmy
