Compact powered book shelve speakers

Honestly, I do not actually know how the AE W3s perform. I have only used the WiiM Pro Plus.

Right now, the WiiM products are not designed to try to synchronize remote speakers with audio entering its Analog to Digital Converter. The remote speakers will be synchronized, but that sound will not be synchronized with anything playing out of the source amp if you have speakers hooked up.

I find it interesting that the Dayton Audio solution claims a latency of 32ms. Audio Engine claims 20ms.

Humans are apparently sensitive to latency as low as 6ms! (https://audient.com/tutorial/audio-latency-explained/)

I just got a set of W3s for a third their retail price and want to give it a go.

I still can’t decide which active or powered speakers to get. According to the reviews I read the sound quality of the KEF LS50 and LSX series seems unbeatable for their size, but when it comes to connectivity and software, specially in the wireless department they seem to be plagued by severe issues (specially the gen 1 versions). But maybe that won’t matter if I use them with the W3?

Are there any KEF alternatives?

I got a good deal on a pair or W3 transmitter/receiver. I'll start with that nad see how it goes.

It's now about deciding on the active, powered speakers.
It's a large open space, not a desktop situation, so studio monitors may not be great as they're meant for near field applications.
For a moment I was in the fence to get a pair of used KEF LSX or LS50, but while I'm sure the sound would be great, I'm a bit tuned off by the connectivity and software issues they seem to be plagued with. I guess connectivity won't matter when I use the W3s but I'm not sure about pairing. And considering the price tag (new and used)...
Anyone here has experienced these issues with the KEFs, or do you know of good (active, powered alternatives in that size with similar sound qualities (or better)?

I now have two WiiM Pro Plus and a Mini. I’m ready to install powered or active remotes.
Unfortunately I really struggle with deciding which speakers to get. And since I can’t try them all out, I was wondering if some of you here have some real life experience with some of them, or/and have an idea on how they’d compare in my setup.
Here are my current contenders:
Dynaudio Xeo 2
Dynaudio LYD7
Dynaudio BM5A
Fluance ai61
Vanatoo T0
Tannoy Gold 7
Klipsch R-51PM
Q Acoustics M20
Focal Shape 65
Airmotiv 6
SVS Prime Wireless Pro
Adam T7V
Elac Connex DCB41

I decided for the M20 - now it’s about setting it all up in the best way possible.
