Wow! Doing the math on that (not my strong suit), if one were to send one post a day, every day it would take 178 years to get to 65k! Is that right??? But it's not about the quantity but the quality which makes your feat so remarkable.. Thanks for all you do for this site!
I would like to try to explain this enormous post count again. I really love to express myself in a foreign language, either French, or English. So I posted countless times in the "Gaming" forum (and the "General Off Topic" forum), a lot of these games are a linguistic challenge for a non native English speaker. Some of you know that I almost never speak or have spoken a single word English (the language does actually only exist in a written form in my brain), so this "Gaming" forum - and AK in general - is the only way for me to express myself in your language.
So here's a strange question mein Freund, do you dream in English?
I recall dreaming auf Deutsch while there, but did live in the Deutsch village of Worms Horchheim among the locals.
I don't know if I shared this before, aber mein Tochter war im Heidelberg geboren im 1981. Our landlord's daughter and an American girl played together, and my daughter translated for them. Unfortunately she tried learning German in high school, but it didn't last from earlier days.
