Cool Cassette Machine on Ebay

Go for it

That's a very good deck with 2-speeds, cue function + a great sound Beatle Fred.
I have 2 of these and are very satisfied.
Also plug for remote-control on the back. :D

I like the looks of that too. Seems like a pretty cheap BIN as well.

Like TX said, "Go for it."

Though its tempting, I will pass on it, I just dont have the space for one thing, and I already do have a very nice vintage two speed deck, the venerable BIC T-4M. (and also a T-2M). Otherwise, I would probably go for it.

However, while I do like cassettes, I much prefer the sound quality of open reel machines- they run at much faster speeds and the sound quality is tremendous- in fact, when I have recorded songs from my cd player onto open reel, the copy of the song on the reel sounds more pleasing to the ears than the source CD itself. Its the magic of that 'ol analog warmth.

The Teac A-3440 is a classic machine that I L-O-V-E.

Yes, I do the same thing here with my CD's. :D
Awhile back I made a tape for a customer who bought a deck from me, as a surprise I recorded Leonard Cohen.
From CD > > thru Equalizer > > Teac M-30 mixer and beefed up the bass even more >> finally to a Tascam 22-2 (2-track machine)
It came out with a very sweet-analog sound ;)
The customer was asking why the tape sounded much better than his CD playing the same song .:dunno:

Analog of course :D
