Sorry about that. They are packed in the boxes in the garage covered with blankets until I figure how to get these to the media room (finished basement) and integrate without to much backlash. My wife thinks bigger = more expensive so I need to prep her. BTW her little portable Bose bluetooth speaker was $300 and her HK bluetooth was $75. She didn't ask permission before coming home with those. LOL.

Smaller speakers I would just swap out quickly. Much easier. This is different. But these are likely my new forever speakers so it's a great investment.

Actually....I also need to refinish them first too before going to the basement. I don't want to lug them up and down twice!

I checked the serial numbers on the boxes and looked them up. Using the letter dating format they are "X", so dated 1982.

Hi this is Rick I'm kind of new to this site but since I just took in trade two sets of Cornwall one speakers circa 1975 and 1977 both with upgraded crites woofers, interior bracing ,And I think a guy named Mark floth rear cabinet upgrade which really just makes the cabinet stronger it looks like three-quarter inch plywood , very professionally done upgraded speaker posts looks to be polyurethane cabinets in excellent condition I think I can say I have found almost the perfect speaker for me if there is one. I have tried many mid level and a few What I consider to be very expensive speakers $5000 range. Many JBL's ,expensive vintage speakers,belles,kef ,hales,infinity,ev, usually with integrated amps of low
wattage , but after auditioning this tonight on a Sansui 7070 I fell in love. The tightness of the base and the clarity of the mid range as good as any I've heard , at least to my ears. In fact it made me want to get rid of some of my other favorites for like many of you I have way too many so now I really get this klipsch thing so thank you for all the info you guys have provided me for the last couple of years. I was familiar with Bob crites for he did some electrical voice upgrades for me so between him and the site I hope to have all the information I need to make these for Cornwalls my keepers.

Hey Rick glad to hear the Sansui sounds good! I just bought an AU-999 / TU-999 but haven't picked it up yet. My first Sansui.
