He is also just back in Washington DC Craigslist 5 hours ago with the Sansui 9090db.
I flagged him and also posted a scam warning.

I flagged Dave's 2245 listings from the Boston area yesterday and today. He has taken to multiple listings of the same product to make it a bit more work to flag them. What do the 9090db listings look like? Does he have the same silly Deoxit statements?
I am also wondering about this listing below. It has been put up over and over on the Boston CL but the seller is supposedly in Ohio. It doesn't make any sense. Though the price isn't silly.

And finally, I have been flagging Dave on multiple devices and on the same device with different web browsers. Does anyone here know if that works? Do multiple flags catch the CL monitors? Do the CL monitors realize that my flagging is coming from one IP? If so I should flag from my phone over the cell tower rather from my home WIFI.
I must say that Dave is working the perfect scam. It's too little to go to jail for and he can do it until his scamming fingers fall off without much effort,

I don't believe this Marantz listing is of the scammer Dave. He usually posts the Marantz 2245 on sale for $225 with the picture below. His scam is (a) get the victims to call/text him on a local internet VOIP phone to get out of the Craig's List email relay (b) get them to PayPal $225 + shipping and (c) then disappear. For CL flagging to be effective, t has to be done almost immediately and from different IP addresses.
Thank you for flagging the vermin.

He is back in Washington DC
Taken his scam up a notch - new pictures, new Marantz model (2270), new name (Robert) but the same double spaced text with same silly "de oxit D5" and "horn loaded speakers (Klipsch)", same price $225 and same contact number 202-350-0254 which now needs image verification to confirm responder is not a robot!
Just flagged him. He may be "updating" his scam in other cities. Attached are the new pictures.

Ever since seeing this thread, I've made a game of checking DC craigslist to spot and flag this scammer's posts. For some reason, he has started posting the exact same Sansui ad twice at the same time, with the only difference being that one is priced at $225 and the other at $275. I guess that just means more fun for me because I can flag him twice!
