Very interesting pair of speakers:

If you're in Portland you can get them for $350 vs $500 on Seattle CL.

Interestingly enough, my audio buddy and I have been watching these for quite a while. Originally they were posted by somebody else I think at maybe $275 to $295. But I could be slightly mistaken on that. Anyway, somebody bought them and then immediately reposted them for well over a thousand. And we've been watching them ever since, now they're down to 350.

I'm really curious of how they sound. I'm sure they were very high end model for that company which no one had heard of. I can imagine them sounding similar to Chapman T series speakers.

I am guessing that down here in Portland the Greybeard were a little more well-known. Supposedly the story is that Greybeard and Modwright were working very close together, and greybeard was really about to explode on the market when the owner got the cancer diagnosis.

Funny you should mention the Chapman's. I have a pair of vintage 1994 T-7s that I got practically mint in the original boxes for 200 bucks down here. Those are the speakers you will have to pry from my cold dead hands they are that good.
