No affiliation.
listing says stereo shop inventory from the past.
I see at least a several fisher or scott tube gear, sansui, VOTT, and etc.

Hmmm, retiring in July to spend more time in the shop (and having a pretty good pile of projects now) this looks intriguing.
ETA: I guess dumping the CD players, cassette decks and BPC for free locally prior to loading would make it easier.

I have no idea how someone would transport that much gear halfway across the state and not damage something that shouldn't be damaged.

Early congrats on your retirement!
Yeah, leaving behind those bpc and just picking up mid-level and up stuff would make sense. Uhaul with lots of moving blankets.

After a closer look, not as many good stuff as I first thought though...

Yea...some of the shelving us worth more than the crap piled in it.

Unheated storage? Years of temp swings.

Someone's giving away Fisher Ambassador console.
I believe the amp is hybrid.

Just curious if anyone here has dealt with Vernon in Renton. He sells vintage tube gear - McIntosh, Marantz. I've been back and forth with him about an 8b. I'm certain he's not a scammer, but I'm curious if he's worth the trip. He posts poor pictures and won't take any more. His response to questions about photos that show the condition is, "I don't lift a finger until someone shows up with cash and a car to haul it away." I kind of get where he's coming from but as he is asking top dollar I also don't want to waste my time traveling to look at something that is all rusted out and nasty. He doesn't give me the impression of someone who wants to negotiate. Anyway, just asking.

I talked to him a few times. I don't think he's a scammer, but I think you have a good point about the dubious condition of some (most) of those items.
