Have you seen the documentary about him, Crumb? Or American Splendor? Both are very entertaining and well worth watching.

That documentary about him is crazy. It’s amazing he survived such an upbringing.

His mother was truly despicable.

Was that the doc where he goes to that town in Wisconsin every couple years and goes door to door asking if they have any Paramount label 78's?

No it was an actual documentary. He is one odd dude.

[Bone Yard]

Yea, there's two films, a documentary and a movie, both are really good.

In case you don't know, the Freak Brothers have been uploaded to the big screen, yep they're on TUBI and on season 3!

Re: “American Splendor”: Paul Giamatti played Harvey Pekar (confusingly, Harvey Pekar himself appears as himself in the movie). James Urbaniak played Crumb. “American Splendor” is not the documentary.

I guess, it is a docudrama.

To be clear, the documentary is by Terry Zwigoff and called “Crumb,” see: Crumb (film) - Wikipedia

I think you mean Harvey Pekar? Crumb is in the movie, but the movie is not about him.
