That guy is indeed very good at making a directly heated triode suitable for
ham radio work, but I wouldn't rely on that kind of production technique for
making tubes suitable for hi-fi equipment. Among other problems, IIRC those
tubes have no getter, so lifetime is probably measured in the hundreds of
hours at most. Still very impressive, make no mistake about it.
