They have my interest, never heard a ribbon tweeter. How would you approach this? Offer $125?

First, I would want a picture of the back. You don't even know if they are sealed or ported.

Second, I would set up an audition. How can you know what to offer (if anything) without hearing them?

Very true. I was mainly going by what it might cost to build a pair from scratch.

Partsexpress diy guy, maybe? There seems to be at least $100 worth of parts there. And, the build quality doesn't look suspect, based on the photos. They could be good!

a quick check of ebay parts pricing and I don't think you could build those for under $400. It might even be higher.
