That bidder will scam him. Can't believe someone would pay that much for some snappy paint. He should have had the face gold anodized to match.

Do you have to pick it up in something like a Range Rover that's been tarted up in big gold rims, a huge spoiler and metal flake paint job? Maybe I'm a purist but that looks kind of gaudy to me...seems like it would be worth less than a stock 1250 with all that trash done to it.

I've seen this one before too. I think the work that was done, was done nicely. But I'm kinda a purist so I like the stock stuff. But then again the one with a clear plexiglass case looked pretty cool.

The bidding looks very suspect though.

How does one even bid it up that high...the bid history has the current bidder bidding it up almost $900....doesnt look like anyone else was bidding against him....

Well, what do ya know!... We just had a talk last week about pimping the 1250, and then one appears. I must admit, it is pretty nice.

All that "pimping" and he couldnt replace the bulb thats out? But he will provide it...

and he will remove the faceplate for shipping....but cant put the bulb in?

I bet it doesnt even look as nice as it appears in the pics

And he goes on and on about how the heatsinks dont get hot, and says nothing to hide on this one..

I bet its scrap metal

My flags are flying...I wouldnt touch it

I was looking over the pictures and kept forgetting who made that receiver...

In one spot I think he wrote "Pioneer" in Braille!

Is it good to lube your moving parts with Automatic transmission fluid ?:scratch2:
