On my way to get some fuses and parts for a rebuild, I saw these at a garage sale. $15. and they followed me home...

Who can guess what they are??

yea. looks a little bigger in the pic than it actaully is.

built very heavily for its size, woofer facing up with the tweeter mounted above it, also facing vertically.

Yup! you're dead on. Tandy / allied Nova-Omni's

Interesting cast-iron plate on top. They actaully sound pretty good. the dispersion of these makes for great radio/jazz listening walking around my apartment/shop.

Thanks for the link. I finally know what my spare bedroom end tables are Optimus-6 on page 13. Got them free in very nice shape but no drivers.

Looks like they'll be powered by a Pioneer SX-525 to make for a bedroom system... Should do for now!
