Danley Horn speakers for home use? On SF Bay CL...info?

[slowpat]

Is anyone familiar with "Danley"? Looks to be in pretty good build quality...interesting at least.

They're highly thought of for PA. I would be curious enough to go listen but I'm 3,000 miles away

No wonder the seller mentioned "home" use...was wondering why anyone would mention that. Thx.

Curiouser and curiouser...

I'd like to take a listen to those...

Those look like they might just be really good! Danley makes state of the art PA gear ... and this type of speaker is experimented with quite a bit by family advanced hobby speaker builders. It is patented technology and I've not seen anyone tackle a commercial home version (maybe because of the licensing issues). The Bass driver looks like one of the Acoustic Elegance Woofers (if so its really good). I'd definitely go take a listen - if you can.

Those horns were designed to be very directional. I would think in a home use the sweet spot would be tiny. If you aren't the kind of person who sits in one spot and listens those may not be for you.
