BTW, I love the red hue of the cabs.

Regarding running them unported vs. ported, I've just purchased some Zilch plugz (plumbing plugs that allow one to close off the ports when desired). I think I prefer them ported for most applications. Plugged, they seem to lose some immediacy.

I finished My baffles today!, now both pairs are just waiting on a set of iron core inductors, dad and I are looking around to find some available else where as Parts express wont have them in until the 29'th of this month plus the week they are in transit that's over a month of waiting, we won't even get to hear em until January a few days before my birthday actually. We have had no luck so far though, would it throw them off if we substituted the 18GA for the 16GA? they are both 1.5 mHZ.

Well, dad ordered a couple sets of the Iron cores from ERSE audio and got 2 day air, we should have em by Thursday or Friday!!! we will have impressions by this weekend!.

Great story!! Dave and the crew get BIG kudos for this. As many have already said, it is this spirit AND action of friendship and community/family that make AK such a great place to spend our time and share of ourselves. This example sets the bar high for all of us to "pay forward" a bit this coming year.

Well fellas,

I just finished my pair about an hour ago and man are these little suckers sweet!!!, I had em running alone and was so suprised at the amount of bass the little 6.5 was putting out. I turned on my subs-(the newly acquired Sequerra MET8 MK-II's)-and MAGIC!!!! these things have out done my Vandersteens I am gonna closet the vandies for a while and will sell em shortly.

Heres a pic of em on top of my subs!, the Cherry cabinets even match!!!!.

Shawn, it's not the rebel flag that represents a serious character flaw, it's the Chargers paraphernalia.
